Radiotherapy side-effects

A research team in the United States documented that taking live GG probiotic before the start of radiotherapy to the abdomen protected the intestinal surface cells from being destroyed by radiation.

Survival of intestinal surface cell structure after radiation is promoted in the presence of live Lactobacillus GG (L. GG). [Ciorba et al.2011]

GG probiotic’s ability to detoxify and diminish risk factors for cancer makes it the ideal long term health supplement.

For patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy taking  LACTOGG® to protect the intestines and reduce treatment side-effects may help relieve their suffering.
