Children with serious and repeated lung infections

A team of doctors studied the beneficial effect of Lactobacillus GG in children who suffered from serious and repeated lung infections. Those children who took GG probiotic were found to suffer significantly less lung infections, compared to those children without the probiotic.

Not only did the GG probiotic children need fewer admissions to hospital for lung infections, their lung function improved and they gained more weight at the end of the 6 month study.
