Based on Lactobacillus GG’s clinical studies, the recommended dose of LACTOGG® is: In circumstances when LactoGG’s survival or colonisation may be affected such as during diarrhoea, antibiotic treatment or cancer-treatment, the dose may be increased. Even if a higher dose is taken there is no danger as the “extra” Lactobacillus GG can be passed out in the stools. When taken to reduce the side-effects of antibiotics, LACTOGG® should be consumed about 1-2 hours apart from the dose of antibiotic. For example if your antibiotic dose is due at 8 am and then at 8 pm you should take LACTOGG® either anytime between 9-10 am and 6-7 pm or anytime after 9-10pm and 6-7am. LACTOGG® capsule is designed to be able to be taken apart. Since LACTOGG® has a pleasant taste, when administrating to babies and young children the powder contents may be poured directly into the mouth or mixed with cool or room temperature food. Dissolve the powder in LACTOGG®+ sachets into cool or room temperature drinks or food and enjoy the sweetness without sugar.
